Arash Bashirullah is an accomplished researcher and educator currently serving as a Senior Advisory Editor for the journal GENETICS and as an Associate Editor for G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics. With a long-standing position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 2007, Arash occupies several key roles, including Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Education in the School of Pharmacy, having transitioned from Assistant to Associate Professor. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute from 2000 to 2007 under the mentorship of Professor Carl S. Thummel.
