Sarah F. Feldman

Sarah F. Feldman has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of data science, epidemiology, and public health. Sarah F. began their career as a Public Health Resident at the Institut Pasteur, where they participated in the set-up of an international prospective cohort and conducted database construction and analysis for the French national reference center of Shigella. Sarah F. then worked as a Public Health Resident at the Imagine Institute of Genetic Diseases, where they focused on bioinformatics and NLP-based medication information extraction. Sarah F. also provided statistical support for Necker hospital's studies during this time.

Sarah then moved on to work as a Public Health Resident at Cnam, where they evaluated the healthcare quality of heart failure patients in France using the French National System of Health Data. Sarah F. gained experience in big data analysis using SAS statistical program. At ELSAN, Sarah continued their training in medical information through missions at the headquarters, including cooperation with a start-up to create a tool for medical coding based on natural language processing. Sarah F. also evaluated machine learning-based automatic coding tools and created a rule-based coding tool.

Sarah's next role was as a Part-time Teacher in Statistical Programming at the CRI - Centre de Recherches Interdisciplinaires, where they taught statistical programming using R language. Sarah F. then worked as an Independent Epidemiologist and Data Scientist before joining the Ministry of Health Israel as an MD Epidemiologist. In this role, they worked at the National Center for Infection Control and the Israeli Center for Disease Control, conducting statistical analysis and scientific article writing. Sarah F. also gained experience in the Israeli healthcare system and participated in various public health activities.

Sarah's most recent position is as a Data Scientist at Genetika+. Here, they specialize in clinical data, medical administrative databases, and electronic medical records. Sarah F. builds predictive models for therapeutic response and analyzes medical data to characterize the Israeli population. Sarah F. works with R and Python for their data science projects.

Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and database construction and analysis. Sarah F. has also developed skills in programming languages such as R and SQL.

Sarah F. Feldman's education history is as follows:

From 2004 to 2007, Sarah attended Lycée Louis-le-Grand and obtained a high school diploma in science.

Sarah F. then enrolled at Sorbonne University from 2007 to 2015, where they completed their medical education and received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. During this period, they also earned a Master of Science (MSc) in integrative biology with a specialty in physiology and physiopathology.

In 2015, Sarah pursued further studies at Université Paris-Saclay and completed a Master in Public Health (MPH) degree, specializing in Methodology and Statistics in Biomedical Research.

Continuing their education at Sorbonne University, Sarah acquired a medical specialty in board certification from 2015 to 2019, focusing on public health and social medicine.

Aside from their formal degrees, Sarah obtained several additional certifications. In 2018, they achieved SNDS Certification for the use of the French National Healthcare Database from Cnam. This certification indicates their competency in utilizing the French national healthcare database for research purposes. Sarah F. also obtained a Medical Doctor certification from the Ministry of Health Israel in January 2020, and a medical specialty in Public Health certification from the Israeli Medical Association in January 2022.
