Aminatta Tejan-Kamara, M.S. has a diverse work experience in various fields. Aminatta currently works as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at GENETWORx since August 2020. Aminatta also served as a Mentor at Freedom High School, providing guidance on post-secondary education and financial planning. Aminatta has experience as a Medical Scribe at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, where they documented medical notes. Additionally, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Back to Basic Learning, creating customized lesson plans and assignments for students.

Aminatta Tejan-Kamara, M.S. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at William & Mary from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued further education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they obtained a certificate in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from 2018 to 2019. Aminatta continued their academic journey at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from 2019 to 2020.
