Aminatta Tejan-Kamara, M.S.

Aminatta Tejan-Kamara, M.S. has a diverse work experience in various fields. Aminatta currently works as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist at GENETWORx since August 2020. Prior to that, they volunteered at Wholistic Services, Inc., where they assisted with medical documentation for individuals with intellectual limitations. Aminatta also volunteered at the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation and revised physician databases.

In terms of education, Aminatta worked as a Preparing for Life as a University Student (PLUS) Counselor at William & Mary in 2016. Aminatta also served as a Mentor at Freedom High School, providing guidance on post-secondary education and financial planning. Aminatta has experience as a Medical Scribe at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, where they documented medical notes. Additionally, they worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Back to Basic Learning, creating customized lesson plans and assignments for students.
