Stephen Frey

Stephen Frey, CFRE, has extensive experience in fundraising and grant management within higher education and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Special Gifts Officer at Geneva College since September 2021, Stephen has previously held significant roles at Presbyterian College, where responsibilities included Major and Planned Gifts Officer, and Major Gifts Officer. At USC Upstate, Stephen was the Director of Annual Giving, and prior to that, Stephen managed government relations and grant processes at Harvest Hope Food Bank. Earlier career experiences include positions at Clemson University as Stewardship Acknowledgement Coordinator and Erskine College as Assistant to the President/Gifts Officer, alongside serving as Legislative Director for Shelby County Legislative Delegation. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education from Taylor University.
