Programme Manager, Strategic Planning at Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD)

Asa Massleberg serves as a Programme Manager and Senior Advisor for Strategic Planning at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), overseeing the Strategic Planning Programme and providing support to donor and explosive ordnance-affected countries through inclusive multi-stakeholder strategic planning processes since March 2011. Prior roles include establishing GICHD's strategic planning project, training national authorities in gender and diversity mainstreaming at the Swiss Campaign to Ban Landmines, and managing community liaison at the Mines Advisory Group. Asa's earlier experience includes research coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross and project coordination for UNHCR, alongside educational qualifications including an Executive Education in Strategic Thinking from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Humanitarian Assistance and Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University.
