Tamara Kloos

Tamara Kloos is a Communications Officer at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) since February 2022. Prior to this role, Kloos held various positions at Human Rights Watch from January 2017 to January 2022, advancing from Coordinator to Senior Coordinator and ultimately serving as Officer for Development and Outreach. Kloos also gained experience as a Programme Intern at the International Service for Human Rights in 2016 and worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre International pour la Paix et les Droits de l'Homme from September 2015 to February 2016. Additionally, Kloos was an Administrative Assistant in Human Resources at the Université de Genève from September 2013 to June 2014. Kloos holds a Master’s Degree in Law and Politics of International Security from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2014-2015) and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Geneva (2010-2014). Kloos completed high school at Collège Sismondi (2005-2009).
