Martijn Rooijakkers

Martijn Rooijakkers has a diverse work experience that spans a range of roles and industries. Martijn currently holds the position of Head of Products FTTH at Genexis, where they are responsible for setting the product strategy for the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Business Unit. Prior to this, they served as a Business Line Manager, driving the FTTH Business Line within Genexis. Martijn has also held positions as a Senior Commercial Product Manager and Commercial Product Manager at Genexis, where they focused on providing best-in-class FTTH solutions.

Before joining Genexis, Martijn worked at Dover Fueling Solutions as a Product Marketing Engineer, providing support for system-related products. Martijn began their career at Enexis B.V. as a Strategy Advisor and later completed an internship at the same company. Additionally, Martijn has experience as a Coordinator for Contract Research at Study Association Industria, where they were responsible for acquiring business assignments for participants. Martijn has also worked as a Project Manager at Adversitement and completed internships at Waterschap De Dommel and Mars.

Throughout their career, Martijn has demonstrated their ability to drive business growth and align product strategies with company goals. Martijn has a strong background in the FTTH industry and has shown a commitment to promoting efficient and sustainable fiber installations.

Martijn Rooijakkers has a diverse education history. Martijn obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2011. Martijn then pursued a Master's degree in Innovation Management from the same university, which they completed in 2012.

In 2014, Martijn Rooijakkers attended NCOI Opleidingen where they obtained a Master's degree in Product Management. Martijn further enhanced their professional skills by obtaining certifications such as the Basistraining Interne Audits ISO 9001:2015 from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance in 2016, and Leidinggeven zonder macht from Schouten & Nelissen in the same year.

In 2021, Martijn Rooijakkers enrolled in de Baak to pursue studies in Organizational Leadership, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

Lastly, they completed their pre-university education at Dr. Knippenbergcollege, specializing in Science and Technology, from 2001 to 2007.
