Eldar Dedic

Eldar is a genetic variant curation scientist, with over 5 years of experience in genetic variant classification according to the ACMG guidelines. Throughout his career, he interpreted 2,000+ variants from 500+ genes associated with different phenotypes. As a member of ClinGen Expert Panels, he answered questions related to gene-phenotype association, gene dosage (gene’s haploinsufficiency or triplosensitivity), variant curation, etc. He holds a BSc. Through his participation in the Genomics England PanelApp knowledgebase, he added value by evaluating gene panels. In addition to that, he was appointed to the position of teaching assistant at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Tuzla.
