Lily Ong

Lily Ong has diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors. Lily currently works as a Process Development Scientist at Genezen since March 2023. Prior to this, Lily had roles at Catalent Pharma Solutions, starting as an Associate in cGMP Biomanufacturing - Upstream from February 2021 to August 2022. Lily then moved to a Senior Associate role in cGMP Biomanufacturing - mRNA/Molecular Therapeutics from August 2022 to January 2023, followed by a brief period as a Senior Associate - Downstream from January 2023 to March 2023.

Lily's academic experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from May 2019 to December 2019. Lily also served as a Teaching Assistant from August 2018 to May 2019.

Additionally, Lily gained industry experience as a Quality Control Technician Intern at Seneca Foods Corporation in 2018 and as a Production Intern at Babcock Dairy Plant from September 2017 to May 2018.

Lily Ong pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Systems Engineering - Food and Bioprocess from 2015 to 2019. Lily then continued their studies at the same university and completed a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2019 to 2020.
