Scott Hemphill is a seasoned professional in operations and engineering, currently serving as the Site Head and VP of Operations at Genezen since July 2024. Prior to this role, Scott held various leadership positions at uniQure from August 2014 to July 2024, including Executive Director of Global Engineering, Facilities and Validation, and Sr. Director of Engineering. Scott began their career in engineering with roles at Shire, Lonza, DECCO Process Solutions, Kelly Engineering Resources, Wyeth Biotech, and Integrated Process Technologies. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained from 1997 to 2001, and a high school diploma from Westford Academy, earned in 1997.
