Drew Volpe

Drew Volpe began their career in 2016 as the Founder and Managing Partner of First Star Ventures, where they invested in entrepreneurs solving real-world problems with deep technology in data, machine learning, and decentralization. In 2017, they invested in Jellyfish, Genialis, and Plex Research, and served on the board of Plex Research and Sia (Nebulous Inc.). In 2018, they invested in Brink and served on the board as a Director. In 2019, they invested in Salient Predictions, Oort, Scoot Science, and served on the board of Genialis. In 2021, they invested in ChiselStrike Inc.

Drew Volpe attended The Roxbury Latin School from 1990 to 1996. Drew then went on to Harvard University where they earned an AB in Computer Science from 1997 to 2001.
