Rafie Faruq is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in finance and technology. Currently serving as Co-founder and CEO at Genie AI since November 2017, Rafie has previously held roles including EF9 Cohort Member at Entrepreneur First, Bond Trader at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd, and Co-founder and Tech Lead at GivTree. Rafie's professional journey includes positions as Summer Analyst at Nomura, Quantitative Analyst at Redburn Partners, Co-founder and Managing Partner at Quraf Partners, and Economic Consultant at Cambridge Econometrics. Academically, Rafie holds a Master's degree in Machine Learning from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
