Md Monsur Ali

Md Monsur Ali has several years of work experience in various roles related to data science and analytics. Md Monsur began their career as a Teacher Assistant at American International University Bangladesh in 2016. Later that year, they joined Hamid Fabrics Ltd as a Junior Data Analyst, where they handled the ERP system and created reports using reporting and analytic tools. In 2021, they conducted a Master Thesis on multi-language fake news detection with long text at Rhine-Waal University, where they utilized the m-BERT and Xlm-Roberta models to predict fake news in English and Bengali languages. In 2022, they worked as a Praktikant - Data Science at Heraeus, where they processed data, developed machine learning models, and built Splunk dashboards. Currently, they are working as a Data Scientist at Genie Enterprise Inc, starting in 2023.

From 2017 to 2021, they attended Rhine-Waal University where they obtained a Master's degree in Information Engineering and Computer Science.

From 2012 to 2016, they studied at American International University-Bangladesh and received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE).

In 2010 and 2011, they attended Dhaka City College and obtained a Higher Secondary Certificate with a focus on Science.

In addition to their formal education, Md Monsur Ali has also acquired various certifications. Md Monsur obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in March 2021. In July 2020, they received the Python for Data Science certification from IBM. In August 2019, they obtained the SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Maintenance & Repair with ERP 6.0 EHP7 certification from SAP University Alliance. In March 2019, they completed the Boost Your Excel Skills and Excel 2016 Pivot Tables: Create Basic Pivot Tables in Excel courses from Udemy. In July 2018, they acquired the Data Science R Basics certification from DataCamp. Lastly, in August 2016, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco, and in February 2019, they completed the Google Analytics for Beginners course from Google Analytics Academy.
