Wayne Wu

Wayne Wu currently serves as a Senior Graphics Engineer at Genies, focusing on scalable user-generated content technology for 3D avatars and digital fashion. Previously held various roles, including Graphics Engineer at the University of Pennsylvania and R&D Engineer at Industrial Light & Magic, where significant contributions were made to the development of advanced visuals and technologies. Experience includes working as Production Technology TD at Blue Sky Studios, where the next-generation USD-based VFX pipeline was developed, and involvement in notable projects at SideFX Software, Tangent Animation, and Electronic Arts, among others. Wayne holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Computer Graphics and Game Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Wayne participated in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore.
