Sherie Ma

Sherie Ma is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at GenieUs Genomic. Prior to this, they were a Senior Research Fellow at the Servier Program in Drug Discovery at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences from November 2017 to June 2022. Before that, they were at Somnivore and Translating Research at Melbourne, where they were the Research Commercialization Accelerator from March 2017 to November 2017. Prior to that, they were a Senior Research Officer at Florey Neuroscience Institutes from January 2012 to November 2017. Before that, they were a Biomedical Australian Postdoctoral Fellow (NHMRC) at the University of Melbourne from January 2008 to December 2011.

Sherie Ma completed both their PhD in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and BSc in Pharmacology at the University of Melbourne.

Their manager is Matt Keon, CEO. Sherie Ma works with John Su - Lead Bioinformatician, Jerran Santos - Lead Bioinformatician, and Derly Figueroa - Marketing Coordinator. and Shriya Shah - Research Scientist reports to Sherie Ma.
