David Tillman

David Tillman is an accomplished professional in the film and television industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Development and Production at Genius Academy since February 2015. In this role, Tillman collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to create engaging educational video and interactive content. Tillman has extensive experience as a writer and producer, notably as the Head Writer for The Screaming Cocktail Hour LLC and co-writer of the feature film with Love Is All You Need LLC, facilitating a nationwide tour that raised awareness for various non-profit organizations. Prior experience includes roles as Youth Advocate at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Vice President of Development at Velvet Steamroller, and involvement in film and television development at Silver Pictures and WingSpan Pictures. Tillman holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from East Carolina University and has a diverse educational background, including studies at West Virginia University and École Normale de Theux.
