Iain Gibson

Iain Gibson has extensive work experience in IT and business systems. Currently, they serve as the Head of IT Business Systems at Genius Foods since March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Information Systems Manager at Border Biscuits Ltd from August 2018 to March 2021. From August 2003 to August 2018, they worked as the IT Manager at Hardie Caldwell LLP, where they provided desktop and server support, managed the electronic document archive team, and ensured system integrity. Before that, they worked as a Network Support Analyst at Brian Watson & Co from August 2002 to July 2003 and as an IT Assistant at Strathclyde Students' Union from June 2002 to August 2002, where they deployed new desktop PCs and managed the disposal of old machines.

Iain Gibson completed their education with a BSc Hons degree in Computer Science from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Duchess's County High School from 1993 to 1998, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. Additionally, they obtained the MCSA Windows Server 2012 R2 certification from You Train Ltd. Apart from their formal education, Iain also obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, with the latter being achieved in October 2015.
