Elton Martins, MBA, currently serves as the VP of Engineering for the Data Platform at Genius Sports, leading a transformative initiative in sports analytics, betting, and fan engagement for major leagues worldwide. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Director of Data Engineering & Governance at the NFL, where Elton developed and executed data strategies for fan engagement and international expansion. As Senior Director of Data Engineering at Loblaw Companies Limited, Elton championed a cloud-first data modernization strategy, while at RBC, responsibilities included developing the Enterprise Risk Data Lake. Elton's career also features a consulting role at Moody's Analytics and various positions at RBC and IBM Canada. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School and degrees in Software Engineering and Data Processing Technology from Universidade Católica de Brasília.
