Gabriele Cipparrone

Gabriele Cipparrone is a Partner in the London office of Apax Partners, where he works in the Tech & Telecommunications sector. He joined Apax in 2003.

Prior to joining Apax Partners, Mr. Cipparrone was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he specialized in advising clients in the telecom and utility sectors.

Mr. Cipparrone has participated in a number of key deals including Genius Sports, MatchesFashion, Engineering, Orange Switzerland, Weather Investments, TDC, Sisal and Farmafactoring. He serves as a board member of Genius Sports, MatchesFashion and Engineering. He has served on the Board of Genius since July 2018.

Mr. Cipparrone received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, a postgraduate degree in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.

Mr. Cipparrone’s qualifications to serve on Genius’ Board of Directors include his significant transactional experience in the tech sector and his prior experience as a member of the company's board.
