Liuchang Nie

Liuchang Nie has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2014, they completed a summer internship at Laocaichen Food Co., Ltd. In 2017, they participated in the Food Valley Ambassador Program at Food Valley NL, where they worked on research and development projects in the food and life sciences industry. Liuchang also interned at Darling Ingredients Inc. during this time, focusing on investigating flavor formation in blood plasma powder. In 2018, they served as an office manager/EA at Alibaba Group in the Netherlands, handling office administration tasks and collaborating with various teams. In 2019, Liuchang worked as a project manager at the Sino-Euro Agricultural Development Center, organizing and supporting the Global Future Food Forum. In 2020, they joined Fantongtianxia as a product manager before transitioning to a similar role at New Vegan Company. Currently, Liuchang is employed as a product manager at Genki Forest, starting in September 2021.

Liuchang Nie obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Food Science and Engineering from China Agricultural University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Food Technology at Wageningen University & Research, which they completed from 2015 to 2018.
