Wayne Tin, CFA, CPA

Wayne Tin, CFA, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Wayne is currently working as an Investment Director at Genki Forest since January 2021. Prior to this, Wayne served as a Senior Investment Manager at Yili Group from November 2019 to January 2021 and as a Senior Investment Manager at Joyvio Group under Legend Holdings from March 2017 to November 2019. At Joyvio Group, Wayne focused on acquiring businesses in the food and agribusiness industry.

Before joining Joyvio Group, Wayne worked at PwC Hong Kong and Mainland China as a Manager in the Corporate Finance division from May 2014 to October 2016. Wayne played a crucial role in consulting and process management for M&A deals and provided financial advisory services for infrastructure projects. Wayne also worked at EY as a Senior Accountant from November 2009 to March 2014. Their responsibilities included auditing Beijing Enterprises Water Group Limited, where they gained expertise in complex project-based accounting treatment.

Wayne Tin, CFA, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Quantitative Finance from HKUST Business School, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. In 2013, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Following that, in 2015, Wayne obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. Currently, they are pursuing the AI Programming with Python Nanodegree from Udacity, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
