Avani Badani

Avani Badani is a seasoned professional in clinical science with extensive experience in hematology and oncology. Currently serving as Director of Clinical Science at Genmab since March 2021, Avani leads a Phase 3 confirmatory registrational study for EPKINLY™ and previously served as Scientist Lead for a Phase 1/2 study for HexaBody® CD38. Prior to this role, Avani held the position of Associate Director at Bristol Myers Squibb, where contributions included leading the Phase 3 BEYOND NTD β-Thalassemia registration trial and developing Reblozyl® (Luspatercept). Additional experience includes senior roles at Akros Pharma, Syneos Health Clinical Solutions, Allergan, and previous positions in cardiology and clinical coordination. Avani holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and a certificate in Drug Development from Harvard Office of Technology Development.
