Elmutaz Shaikho

Elmutaz Shaikho is an Associate Director of clinical development data engineering at Genmab since April 2023, where responsibilities include driving a company-wide data strategy and collaborating on AI-based applications. Previously, from May 2021 to March 2023, Elmutaz served as a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), helping healthcare customers build scalable solutions and remove data silos utilizing AWS services. Prior roles include Senior Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb, where a focus on genetics and genomic data for drug target identification was central, and a Scientist I at Celgene, among other positions in computational biology and research. Elmutaz holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Boston University, and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics from Saint Joseph's University, along with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Khartoum.
