Mikael Yde

Mikael Yde has over 25 years of experience in IT compliance and quality assurance. Mikael is currently the Director and Team Lead for IT QA at Genmab, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for computerized systems. Prior to that, they held positions as an Associate Director and Senior Manager in IT QA at Genmab.

Mikael has also held positions at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, Biogen, Radiometer Medical, Epista Life Science, Lundbeck, Niels Brock, Post Danmark, DSB Data, and SKAT. In these roles, they have been responsible for IT quality management, validation of applications and infrastructure, IT inspection coordination, and data privacy/GDPR compliance. Additionally, they have provided strategic advisory and consulting services in IT compliance and risk management for life science industries.

In their earlier roles, Mikael Yde has worked as a teacher, teaching project management and data management, and as an IT project coordinator at SKAT.

Mikael Yde has a diverse education history. Mikael started their education at Randers Amtsgymnasium from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained their Studentereksamen degree in the field of Matematisk-Samfundsfaglig. Later, from 1987 to 1994, they attended Roskilde Handelsskole and earned a degree in Datamatiker, specializing in Computer Science. Following this, from 1997 to 2003, Mikael attended Niels Brock, where they pursued an Academy Profession degree in Computer Science with a focus on Datanom.

In addition to their formal education, Mikael Yde has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Mikael completed the PMP - Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2003. Mikael also earned the IPMA-C - International Project Management Association, level C certification from Dansk Projektledelse in June 2000. Moreover, Mikael holds certifications such as Certified Lean Manager from Simpler (2006), Certified Computer Validation Manager from the European Compliance Academy (2004), ITIL V3 Foundation from Dansk IT (2009), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA (2010), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA (2010). Additionally, they obtained priSM - Professional in Service Management/ITIL certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in August 2011.
