Taka Hamatani

Taka (Takahiro) Hamatani has extensive work experience in finance, strategic planning, and business development within the pharmaceutical industry. Taka (Takahiro) is currently an Employee Representative and Member of the Board of Directors at Genmab, where they previously held the position of Senior Director and Head of Finance for the Japan region. Prior to that, Taka worked at Novartis in various roles, including Head of Development Finance Japan and Senior Manager of Business Planning and Analysis. Taka (Takahiro) also had a role at Gilead Sciences as a Senior Manager in FP&A. Taka's earlier experience includes a managerial position at Medikit, where they were responsible for global strategy and business development, and several roles at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, including Manager and Sales Representative.

Taka Hamatani's education history begins in 1993, when they attended The University of Tokyo and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics, which they completed in 1997.

In 2006, Taka furthered their academic journey by enrolling in Hitotsubashi ICS (Hitotsubashi University Business School) and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2007 with a focus on Business studies.
