Andrew Chang

Senior Process Engineer at GenMark Diagnostics

Andrew Chang has a diverse background in the field of bioengineering and diagnostics. Andrew is currently working as a Senior Process Engineer at GenMark Diagnostics since June 2020. Prior to that, Andrew held various positions at Ontera from 2017 to 2020, including Quality Control Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Biosensor Device Test Engineer. Andrew has also worked at Santa Clara University as a Graduate Student from September 2016 to December 2017, where they also served as a Teacher Assistant for a lab focused on mammalian cell culture. Before that, Andrew worked as a Bioengineer I at SE3D from June 2015 to May 2017, where they developed biological assays for the company's 3D bioprinter. Andrew also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Santa Clara University from June 2013 to October 2015, studying the mechanical effects of dual polymer hydrogels backed by silica nanoparticles.

Andrew Chang earned their Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Santa Clara University from 2012 to 2016. Andrew went on to pursue a Master's Degree in the same field at Santa Clara University from 2015 to 2017.
