Bruce Kallen

Bruce Kallen is an experienced manufacturing and production supervisor with a strong background in the medical device industry. Since April 2018, Bruce has supervised a team of 24 technicians at GenMark Diagnostics, focusing on the manufacturing of medical devices for blood culture testing, while overseeing performance evaluations and adhering to regulatory standards. Prior roles include manufacturing supervision at Cymer and Safety Syringes, Inc./BD Medical, where responsibilities encompassed managing large teams and ensuring compliance with cost and quality specifications in the production of safety syringes and other medical devices. Bruce has also held supervisory positions at Senior Aerospace, Jet Products, Qualigen Inc., STERIS Corporation, Torrey Membrane, and Quidel, demonstrating extensive expertise in overseeing manufacturing processes, quality control, and team management. Educational background includes studies at Miramar College from 1988 to 1990, and prior experience as a Machinist's Mate in the US Navy, contributing to a solid foundation in technical and supervisory roles.
