Cathy Duarte has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Cathy worked at GenMark Diagnostics from 2014 to present, initially as an IT Technical Support, then as an IT Support Specialist II, and currently as a Sr. IT Support Specialist. Cathy'sresponsibilities included providing desktop support, server administration, software and hardware management, phone system support, network hardware troubleshooting, patch deployment, and end user support. Cathy also conducted testing and evaluation of new technologies and managed SOX controls.

Prior to GenMark Diagnostics, Cathy worked at Total Tech Resource Corporation as an IT Support Engineer from 2013 to 2014. In this role, they responded to support requests, escalated issues as needed, documented resolutions, maintained the knowledge base, and communicated system availability.

Cathy's work experience also includes a role as an IT Helpdesk Support Technician at California State University from 2011 to 2012.

Cathy Duarte obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Palomar College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Cathy then pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from California State University San Marcos, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.
