Connor Fitch

Connor Fitch's work experience begins with their role as a Student Mentor at the Summer Academy to Inspire Learning from September 2011 to April 2012. In 2013, they became a Biology Undergraduate Lab Assistant at the University of Oregon, which lasted until June 2014. During this time, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the Cresko Lab - Institute of Ecology and Evolution from June 2013 to August 2014, focusing on a project related to sexual differentiation in threespine stickleback.

In 2014, Fitch joined GenMark Diagnostics as a Research Associate. Connor held this position until January 2017 when they transitioned to the role of Molecular Applications Specialist for the Southeast region. In this role, they were responsible for installing, servicing, and training customers on diagnostic equipment. Connor also provided technical support during sales to secure new business and trained team members on data analysis and best practices. In this role, they developed an annual business plan to grow their territory and achieved significant revenue growth.
