Leslie Curiel

Leslie Curiel has a diverse work experience in the field of research and healthcare. They started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Arizona in October 2016. During their time at the university, they also served as a Senior Capstone and Room Supervisor. In June 2016, Leslie also participated in the Summer Institute of Medical Ignorance (SIMI) at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.

In 2021, Leslie joined Ventana Medical Systems as a Research Associate I and worked there until August 2022. Currently, Leslie is working as a Research Associate I at GenMark Diagnostics, starting in September 2022. These experiences highlight their expertise in research and their commitment to contributing to the field of healthcare.

Leslie Curiel completed their education at the University of Arizona from 2016 to 2020. Leslie obtained a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Spanish, specializing in Molecular Biology. In addition to their formal education, Leslie has acquired several certifications. In April 2016, they became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA 1) through the Arizona Board of Nursing. In July 2017, Leslie completed the certifications for "Reducing Pain and Distress in Laboratory Mice and Rats" and "Working with the IACUC - Investigators, Staff, and Students" through the CITI Program. Later, in November 2021, they obtained the certification for "Regulations, GDP, Data Integrity Curriculum" from Roche. Finally, in March 2022, Leslie acquired the certification for "What is ICH GCP?" from Roche.
