Oren Shoval

Oren Shoval is a Systems Engineer II at GenMark Diagnostics since June 2025, previously serving as a Research Engineer II at NanoCellect Biomedical, Inc., where a 60% reduction in the cost of goods sold for microfluidic consumables was achieved through innovative cartridge redesigns. Prior experience includes working as an R&D Medical Device Engineer at Keen Dx., where Oren led the theoretical conception of medical devices, attracting investor interest and securing company funding. Additionally, Oren contributed to advancements in portable medical devices during undergraduate research at BioMEMS, UCI, and Khine Labs, focusing on enhancing device usability and reducing operational costs. Oren earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from UC Irvine in 2020.
