Savita Senthil has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Starting in 2022, they joined GenMark Diagnostics as a Product Manager. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Rutgers University. In the same period, they were also a Postdoctoral Immunology Fellow in Commercial Insights & Strategy at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson.

Before their academic roles, from 2017 to 2020, Savita was a Student Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy. Savita Senthil, PharmD, MBA, obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from The University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy. Savita then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rutgers Business School. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Savita also holds another BA degree from the same university, specializing in Spanish Language and Literature.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Savita Senthil has obtained various certifications. Savita has an Immunization Certification from the American Pharmacists Association (obtained in May 2018), a Medication Therapy Management certification also from the American Pharmacists Association (obtained in May 2018), and a Pharmacy Intern certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (obtained in May 2017).
