Chad Mercer

Chad Mercer has extensive work experience in various roles within the field of finance, contract management, digital transformation, delivery, program management, and project management. Chad started their career in 2003 at Genoa Design International Ltd. as a Project Manager/Senior Designer and continued to work in different positions such as NSS Program Portfolio Manager, Director of Delivery, Director of Digital Transformation, and currently holds the position of Director of Finance and Contract Management. In 2004, Chad briefly worked at Marinette Marine as a Naval Architect Technologist.

Chad Mercer has a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they obtained in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Diploma of Technology in Naval Architecture from the Marine Institute of Memorial University from 2000 to 2003. In 1998, they completed their General Studies at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Additionally, Chad has obtained several certifications, including the Advanced Leadership Program from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2019, Open Water Diver certification from PADI in 2009, and Lean Level 1 certification from Canadian Manufactures and Exporters in 2008.
