Suzanne Gill is a seasoned leader in the research and non-profit sectors, currently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Genome British Columbia since August 2022. Concurrently, Suzanne holds the position of Vice-President of Government Relations and Public Affairs at the Digital Technology Supercluster and serves as a Director at Innovate BC. With a robust background including over 18 years at Genome BC in various senior roles, Suzanne has successfully developed over $70 million in new programs focused on applied genomics research. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Research Programs at the Ontario Genomics Institute, where Suzanne managed substantial funding contracts from Genome Canada. Academically, Suzanne holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Schulich School of Business - York University and a MSc in Animal Science from The University of British Columbia.
