Jia Xu

Jia Xu is Chief Technological Officer and a seasoned domain expert and leader in the genomics space. Jia holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and has 13 years of experience in next- generation sequencing with 20+ papers published in high impact journals. Because of her unique industry experience, she harbored cross-domain knowledge from project management, software development, bioinformatics to cancer genomics, and personalized medicine. Before joining Genomic Prediction, she led a cross-functional development team in IBM Watson Health for clinical variant interpretation and played a pivotal role in strategic roadmap planning and client support.
