Jamie Ellingford is a Senior Research Fellow at The University of Manchester, engaged in a two-year postdoctoral fellowship funded by Health Education England, focusing on the role of non-coding variation in genetic disorders using datasets from the UK 100,000 genomes project. Additionally, Jamie serves as a Lead Genomic Data Scientist for Rare Disease at Genomics England. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Bioinformatician at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and several research fellow positions at The University of Manchester. Jamie holds a PhD in Genomics and a Master of Research in Translational Medicine from The University of Manchester, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology from The University of Sheffield.
