Karun Thaper

Karun Thaper is a strategic, results-driven leader currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director at Genomics England since 2021. They previously held various roles in the healthcare sector, including Head of Strategy and Development at NHS Derby and Derbyshire CCG and Senior Development & Strategy Manager at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. Karun began their career as a Business Delivery Associate in a graduate program at RWE and has since developed extensive expertise in managing significant projects in the NHS and related organizations. They earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing (Dual Honours) from Keele University in 2008.
