Louisa Massonidou

Louisa is an Advocate and Deputy Managing Director of the Firm, specialising in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Contract Law, Admiralty and Maritime Law, Trademarks, International Tax Planning, Trust Law, Administrative Law and General Legal Practice.

Louisa achieved an LLB from Athens University in 1992 and was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 1993.

Prior to becoming Deputy Managing Director, Louisa served as the Head of the Litigation Department of the Firm (1993 – 1996) and as the Head of the Corporate Department (1996-2002). While acting as the Head of the Corporate Department, Louisa held the post of the Deputy Managing Partner at Christodoulos G. Vassiliades & Co. until 2008 and in 2009, when the Firm was converted to a Limited Liability Company, her post was renamed to Deputy Managing Director.

In addition to the above duties, Louisa holds the post of the Compliance Officer of the Firm, since 2002, thus amassing considerable knowledge and experience on compliance issues, Anti Money Laundering Laws and related Directives and Regulations.

Louisa has also been officially appointed in 2005 by the Registrar of Merchant Shipping of Belize as Deputy Registrar of the International Merchant Marine of Belize (IMMARBE) for Athens, Greece, an appointment, which she is honoured to maintain until today.

Memberships: Cyprus Bar Association, Nicosia Bar Association, European Bar Association, International Bar Association, International Tax Planning Association, Asia Pacific Offshore Institute, Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) as well as a founding member and former member of the board of directors of ACAMS Cyprus Chapter.
