Angela Smith is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Managing Director of Fixed Assets and Account Payables at GenOn Energy since October 2018, Angela previously held the position of Director of Retail and Wholesale Settlements at Dynegy from April 2007 to October 2018, focusing on settlements and account payables for gas and power. Prior roles include managing retail power accounting at Enron Energy Services and leading risk management accounting efforts at Equiva Trading Company. Angela's career began in volume analysis at El Paso Energy Marketing and KN Energy Inc. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University, obtained in 1987.
