Scott Cameron

Scott Cameron has extensive experience in environmental health and safety management, currently serving as the Environmental Health & Safety Manager at GenOn Energy since May 1991, where responsibilities include maintenance of wastewater treatment control systems and plant CEMS equipment. In addition, Scott has worked as an Environmental & Safety Specialist at NRG Energy since May 2010, overseeing compliance with various environmental permits and ensuring the timely submission of EPA reports. As an NRA Pistol Instructor with American Training since March 2004, Scott instructs new shooters in safety and fundamentals. Earlier roles include plant labor at Cleveland Electric & Illuminating Co. and service as a Boiler Tech 2nd Class PO in the US Navy from January 1985 to December 1988. Education includes Advanced Pollution Instrumentation Level II from Teledyne in 2008 and technical training from the US Navy.
