Michael Ball

Michael Ball has extensive experience in the health technology and life sciences sectors, currently serving as a Board Member and Investment Committee Member at Nimbus Synergies, and as a Strategic Advisor for several companies including GENOOX, Tag.bio, and BugSeq. As the Founder and CEO of Marketech Solutions, Ball provides strategic expertise to early and mid-stage organizations in precision health and genomics. Previous roles include Chief Executive Officer of Canexia Health and a Global Vice President at Illumina, with a notable tenure as CEO and Board Director at GenoLogics Life Sciences Software Inc, which was acquired by Illumina. Ball also contributes to the Canary Foundation as a Board Member and has been associated with the Creative Destruction Lab since 2018. Ball holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Marketing and Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.
