Jong Sung Koh, Ph.D.

Jong Sung Koh, Ph.D. has a wealth of experience in the field of science. Jong Sung began their career in 1988 as a Vice President and VP/Drug Discovery at LG Life Sciences. In 1990, they were a Senior Research Scientist at The Scripps Research Institute. From 1995 to 2007, they were a Visiting Scientist at UC Berkeley and Head of the Center for Anti-cancer Research at Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT). From 2008 to 2022, they were President and Chief Executive Officer at Genosco. Jong Sung is currently an Adjunct Professor at SNU School of Pharmacy.

Jong Sung Koh, Ph.D. received their Ph.D. in Bioorganic from Caltech between 1985 and 1990. Jong Sung received their MS in Photochemistry from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology between 1979 and 1981. Jong Sung also received their BS in Chemistry Education from Seoul National University between 1975 and 1979.
