Shima Nikkhah

Shima Nikkhah has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2022. Shima currently holds the position of Production & Project Manager at GENOSKIN since July 2022. Prior to that, they were an Executive Administrative Assistant at Lean in Equity and Sustainability from January 2022. Shima worked at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) from June 2018 to December 2021, first as a Research Intern and later as a Research Associate. Before that, they were a Research Student and College Assistant at Hunter College from February 2016 to June 2018. In 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate at Elizabeth Arden and from 2010 to 2012, they were an ESL Teacher at Roshangar Educational Complex.

Shima Nikkhah's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biology/Biotechnology from Hunter College, which took place from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they earned an Associate's degree in Science from Borough of Manhattan Community College, which they completed in 2015. Earlier in their education journey, Shima obtained an Associate's degree in Accounting from Azad University of Tehran, completing it between 2006 and 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Shima Nikkhah has also obtained several certifications. Shima acquired the Introduction to General Data Protection Regulation certification from QACV Consulting in June 2020. In May 2020, they completed the Introduction to Quality Risk Management certification from Barnett International. Shima also obtained certifications related to research settings, such as Group 1: Researchers (faculty and lab staff), Working with Mice, Working with Non-Human Primates, Working with Rabbits, and Aseptic surgery. These certifications were obtained from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY, with the most recent one being Aseptic surgery in December 2019.
