Daniela Mendoza

Daniela Mendoza is a Chilean biologist and businesswoman. Daniela is currently a General Partner at GenoSUR, a Chilean biotechnology company.

Mendoza began their career as a Biologist for the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica. In this role, they oversaw environmental management plans for the public sector and conducted inspections and evaluations of environmental damage. Daniela also represented the ministry in various commissions and meetings, including the Banana Commission and the Young Leaders Meeting in Japan.

In 2007, Mendoza left the Ministry of Environment and Energy to work as a Biologist for Logistics at the Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and executing various research projects.

In 2010, Mendoza left academia to join Bioquimica.cl S.A., a Chilean biotechnology company. In their current role as General Partner, they are responsible for the company's business development and strategy.

Daniela Mendoza has a Magíster en Medio Ambiente from Universidad de Santiago de Chile with a Mención in Gestión y Ordenamiento Ambiental. Daniela also has a Maestría (Magister) in Administración de Proyectos from Universidad para la Cooperación Internacional. Finally, they have a Bachillerato in Biología from Universidad Nacional.
