Kat Taylor has an extensive work experience in various roles. Kat started their career in 1997 as a Customer Service Representative I-III at The Jackson Laboratory. Kat then moved up to become a Laboratory Animal Care Technician I-II and then a Project Manager I-II. In 2013, they co-founded GenoTyping Center of America, Inc. and served as the Co-founder and Chief Administrative Officer. In 2014, they co-founded RockStep Solutions and served as the Co-founder and Director of Sales and Marketing. In 2016, they joined Union River Center for Innovation as an Entrepreneur on Site. Throughout their career, Kat Taylor has been responsible for identifying and cultivating client and business partnerships, developing strategic marketing plans, implementing sales and operational strategies, staging market and sales strategies, and overseeing Innovation centers.
Kat Taylor received their Liberal Studies degree with a concentration in English from the University of Maine in 1993. Kat has also taken courses through Coursera.
