Michael Greene has over 20 years of professional experience in marketing, sales, and research. In 1999, they founded Greene Web Design. From 1996 to 2001, they worked as an Aquatic Biologist for Dynamac Corporation, where they managed EPA-funded research projects and supervised research teams. Michael also taught Distance & Continuing Education courses at Oregon State University from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they became the Director of Sales and Marketing at Ellis Boat Company, where they developed marketing and sales strategies and redesigned the company's website and marketing materials. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at The Jackson Laboratory, where they led global marketing strategies and initiatives with shared P&L accountability for over $100M in annual revenue. Michael then worked as a Marketing Consultant for RockStep Solutions from 2014 to 2015, where they created full go-to-market strategies and tactical marketing plans. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Chief Executive Officer and Marketing Director at GenoTyping Center of America, where they provided overall strategic vision, business leadership, and tactical planning for company growth and success. Finally, they worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at IDEXX BioAnalytics from 2011 to 2014, where they drove global marketing, brand positioning, and marketing plans.
Michael Greene obtained their MBA in Business Administration from Oregon State University in 2002. From 1991 to 1996, they obtained their BS in Biology & Oceanography from the same institution. In April 2017, they received their Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Level III (Foundations, Market, Launch) from Pragmatic Marketing. Additionally, they have obtained Competition Law Training from Compliance Online (Pty) Ltd.
