Senior Process Development Scientist at GenScript ProBio

Ssempa Kisaalita has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Ssempa started as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Georgia in 2005 and worked there until 2011, focusing on anaerobic digestion and biofuels. In 2018, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the same university, where they conducted research on Plasmodium falciparum, Ideonella sakaiensis, and the expression of recombinant proteins. Ssempa gained expertise in various techniques and equipment related to protein purification and processing. In 2019, Ssempa joined Molecular Templates as a Research Associate and later became a Senior Research Associate and Scientist. Ssempa contributed to scientific projects and developed skills in their role. Currently, since June 2023, Ssempa Kisaalita is working as a Senior Process Development Scientist at GenScript ProBio.

Ssempa Kisaalita completed a Master's degree in Biomanufacturing and Bioprocessing from The University of Georgia between the years 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of West Georgia from 2008 to 2015. Ssempa Kisaalita also holds a certification in People Manager Qualification (PMQ) from SHRM, obtained in the year 2021.
