Leah Schmidt

Leah Schmidt is an accomplished professional in sales and research, currently serving as a Sales Account Manager and previously as an Associate Sales Manager at GenScript since May 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Sales Support Specialist at Bio-Techne and a Research Assistant at St. Cloud State University, where Leah conducted research on the effects of Garcinia Kola Extract on Type 1 Diabetes in mice. In addition to developing technical writing skills and obtaining CITI animal care certifications, Leah was a varsity goalkeeper and a tutor, showcasing strong leadership abilities. An internship at Dynation, LLC involved creating a hydrophobic drug delivery system, and earlier experience as a Personal Care Assistant supported the development of interpersonal and patient care skills. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from St. Cloud State University.
