Marc Herndon (He/Him/His)

Marc is a Studio Director based in Gensler’s Charlotte office. With over 20 years of experience, he has served as lead designer and manager for an array of project types spanning across professional service firms, corporate headquarters, financial service firms, associations, civic and public institutions, and building repositioning. He is skilled in all phases of interior architecture and design, including programming, design development, construction documentation and specifications, contract furnishings, and project management.

Marc is an enthusiastic, creative professional with strong communication skills and a passion for design and problem solving. He has served as a leader in many professional and community organizations, including the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter and President of the IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter, as well as a member of the Contract magazine advisory board.
