Mark McManus

Southwest Regional Creative Media Leader, Associate

Mark McManus is an experienced architectural designer currently serving as the Southwest Regional Creative Media Leader and Associate at Gensler since May 2007. McManus specializes in the design of museums, theme parks, hotels, complex offices, and airports, with a focus on integrating Virtual, Mixed, and Augmented Reality technologies into architectural workflows to enhance building design and construction. Prior to this role, McManus operated as a self-employed fine art designer from 1996 to 2007, collaborating with artists on large-scale public art projects both domestically and internationally. Additional experience includes co-owning The Mountain from 2002 to 2005 and working at Kajer Architects and Phoebe Wall Wilson, Architect, where essential contributions included drafting, construction document preparation, and developing urban plans for the City of Pasadena. McManus holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
